Evaluation, data storage & feedback

On completing the data collection, the data should be processed (if necessary) and the monitoring result should be fed back informally to the site manager, enabling them to  implement an appropriate management response at the earliest opportunity.

The monitoring data should then be shared with the respective site managers, land owners and monitoring staff (as appropriate) and stored safely in several locations as electronic data files. These data files would typically comprise GIS background images of the site showing the locations of the monitoring points, with associated data files/spreadsheets and images.
